This past Summer there have been activities around the checking and fixing of our EME 23cm equipment at the club by PE1AXM, PA3EIV, PE9GHZ, PA5KT and other members of the club. All of our equipment is home-made! EME is also known as "moon bounce": we are sending a signal to the moon and it bounces back to earth. There it is hopefully picked up by another ham radio operator who will then try to perform the same in reverse to be picked up by us. If we can exchange our call-sign, signal report and location it is considered a successful contact.

It's good to see this equipment being used again! A long time ago we also had some antennas for the 2 meter band for EME but due to a winter storm damage during Covid they haven't been fixed at the moment. A big thank you to everyone involved!
